Search this site. She and her team did hair for 15 of us and makeup for 12, and stayed on schedule all day. They were all so genuine and incredibly talented. I could not recommend Renee and her team more. Renee was a dream to work with!
She totally nailed my idea of having a vintage hairstyle and subdued makeup with red lips! Also, my hair stayed put all night which was amazing considering I danced the entire reception!
I also want to give a shout out for her agreeing to do a last-minute makeup session for my 91 year old grandmother. We had previously only booked a hair styling for her but my grandmother unfortunately had fallen the day prior and had two black eyes. Renee completely transformed her face so that you could not even tell that she had facial bruising.
I would highly recommend Renee and her team! Her assistant, Jenny, was also wonderful to work with the day of the wedding. I actually kept putting this piece off because I was so discouraged by the pricing and the way some salons were acting. Anytime I would tell a stylist this before anything, they would start tacking on charges or made me feel like they just wanted to book the job because it was a large one.
We exchanged a few emails, and I still just did not want to pull the trigger on booking anyone. Before she came over to my house at 7am, I might add we did a phone consult! I felt like this made it more personal, and was not just someone I was sending pictures from my pinterest board to. She was so kind and we instantly clicked! She did a first look on my hair and I didn't love it.. Two hairstyles, and lots of laughs later, I knew I wanted her to be a part of my day. Come my wedding day and she arrived with her two assistants!
They were equally sweet and amazing! They arrived at 7am and were breezing through all of the girls. We all loved our makeup and hair and even got little kits for touch-ups throughout the rest of the day. My bridesmaids and myself were instantly connecting with her talking about family, friends, you name it. It truly felt like a room full of girls just getting ready together like we had all known each other for years.
I felt like I did not just get great hair and makeup, but also friends that I will stay in touch with :. Renee was an absolute dream to work with for my wedding last March! From the initial consultation all the way through the day of the wedding she was so positive, responsive, and easy to work with. She spent hours with my mother and I during my hair and makeup trial to get it exactly right and she wasn't phased at all when I told her I wanted to change and do an updo 2 days before the wedding.
The day of the wedding Renee and her team arrived at our house at 6 in the morning to start working on hair and makeup for 10 people in order for us to be ready by noon. They were happy and upbeat the entire morning which made the whole process so much fun.
I was blown away by how amazing we all looked once they were finished and I was even happier at the end of the night when everyone still looked fabulous! I would absolutely recommend Renee to anybody looking for hair and makeup services for their wedding!
I loved working with Renee! As a person who doesn't wear a lot of makeup in my day to day life I was worried about feeling to "done up" for my wedding. Renee made me feel so comfortable and came up with a look that was absolutely perfect. Have you experienced getting more attention because your hair is natural? Share your thoughts. Just ask.. I was just saying this! Why you gotta be all up in my scalp though? I remember being out and this white guy had beautiful curly, hair and this girl ran over to him and ran her hands through his hair — He was livid!

But I do know you were not just a Chicago boy meeting Mississippi, not just a whistling boy, a kidnapped boy, a brutalized boy, a bloated boy with a ring on his finger, not just a boy in an open casket, not just a buried boy, a gone boy.
